Snowing in London
Snowing in London
London hasn’t seen so much snow since two decades. The snow forced all buses and most other public transport to stop for a few days, it caused chaos for businesses. Personally I quite liked it, for once I could see my home town covered in a white blanket. It was lovely, seeing the whole of London from my flat covered in a white blanket was just beautiful. I had to walk into work in the snow and I saw people moaning and wining about how cold and what not. I just stood there for a minute and thought to my self, why in the world do us British people always moan. We always have to complain or moan about something, we love criticising and judging. It’s just a stupid horrible feeling.
A few days after the snow, all you would hear on the news is how London Underground and TFL bosses didn’t do this, didn’t do that. Give it all a break for gods sake, we are all human and make mistakes. It’s the first time in 20 years it had snowed so much, I didn’t expect anyone to be prepared for this. We should instead just enjoy the moment, no need to spread hatred. I personally loved the snow so I took a few days off and just sat next to my window with a bottle of red whilst watching London getting snowed on.
Here’s some pictures to remind us all of the lovely snowy London!
