Officer Vacancies

Officer Vacancies in London

Officer job vacancies are nothing to do with the office to be honest. The word Officer is generally associated with the Police e.g. “Police Officer. However there are many other Officer Vacancies as well apart from the Police Force. Here’s a list of Officer Vacancies job roles that may be of interest to you.

Officer Jobs

  • Health & Safety Officer
  • Family Support Officer
  • Finance Officer
  • CIO (Chief Information Officer)
  • Chief Security Officer
  • Engineer Support Officer
  • Food Safety Inspector Officer

And the list goes on and on. Officer Vacancies can be found in every sector. Most Officer vacancies require professional and trusted candidates, so in order to find Officer Vacancies you should come across as slightly serious. Recruiters who employ Officers look for that extra seriousness in someone. This doesn’t mean that you should become a drop dead serious person, just show the recruiter that you are responsible whilst maintaining a cautious look.

Officers have a reputation of being loyal, honest and safe. These words should be on your CV when you apply for officer jobs, this is very important. But don’t just splatter these words all over your Cv but make them fit into sentences. Put words into a sentence like “I am a loyal individual with a reputation for being honest”. If I were to hire a security officer for my local Bank I would look for these sort of words and sentences in a CV. If you are applying for officer jobs its very important that you avoid long complex words, yes you want to come across as intelligent but not the Oxford dictionary intelligence. As mentioned before, try and get the balance correct on your CV and don’t over do words such as safe, loyal and honest too much.

Officer job vacancies should be applied for exactly how they are advertised. If you see a officer vacancy on a job site and it has the company details too, don’t approach the company. Use the job site instead. I know it may sound simple, but many people these make these mistakes and end up not getting the job. The reason why I am saying this is because, as an Officer you are given a duty to follow and following a task is your job. If you fail to follow the employers basic task which is to apply for the job vacancy on the job site advertised, then you’ve failed the first task already. My point is that if you are given instructions to do something then do it exactly that way, not your way their way. It might sound harsh but its the reality. See more Job Vacancies in London
