Job Mentality
I’m a strong believer that if you are focused and give it all you can, there is no doubt you will find a job. The credit crunch is a huge emotionally illusion, with new job loss announcements every month and the media portraying a grim picture, we really start to question ourselves. Am I ever going to get back into work? There is a fact that over 60% of people who get made redundant actually find a job within 2 months. These government figures are not exactly correct and there are many other factors that affect the whole total outcome.
Although many companies are still making profits they are also announcing job cuts too. Reason being is because the credit crunch gives companies an excuse to cut jobs as well. There are many real reasons why people don’t find jobs and to be honest it comes down to the individual. The British culture has triggered our minds to a point where we no longer have self confidence in us. We rely upon others and when they slip up, all we do is criticize them. If there’s one thing we are, it’s a nation of critics. Your probably thinking, why does this matter. Well, next time you judge someones action first place yourself in their shoes and ask yourself, is that a good thing to say? Is this going to unmotivated the person? What effect is my opinion/judgement going to have? All these small things have a huge impact on the way we view things.
My point is you should start to be more confident in what you do, don’t let peoples personal opinions stop you from focusing. It’s very important to get into the positive mentality when finding a job vacancy. Put everything behind you and put your goals in front of you. Do just 1 productive thing today, write it down and make it a goal. Even if it’s the smallest task, just do it. We can spend hours and hours watching TV and yet all we get from is “time pass entertainment”. Never use the excuse that you don’t have enough time, if you are searching for job vacancies in London then finding a job should be your number one task. Keep at it continuously, be resourceful and most importantly determined.
