Learn A New Skill

Job searching can become a repetitive task and if it’s been a while you’ve been looking for job vacancies, I suggest you to learn a new skill. Learning a new skill whilst out of employment keeps your mind active and it’s something productive. When you learn a new skill whilst your looking for a job, it goes to show that you are capable of doing things beyond your nature. When employers see a gap between your last job they will always question it and if your job search has been longer than 5 months continuous, they know your damaged goods. But if it’s been that long and your still finding a job, learn something new. It doesn’t really need to be a brand new skill, it could be an extension to what you already know. Read more »

Don’t Let People Put You Off

People have a huge influence on each other, just take a celebrity for example, only human but a big impact. What I’ve noticed is that many people have written “self motivated” on their CV and when you get to know them for a few minutes you realize there’s nothing self motivating about them, they don’t really have it in them. Kate or Yasmina

I’ve been watching this years Apprentice with Sir Alan Sugar and I must say, it’s sucked me in! It’s like like, I’m addicted to it and now I cannot wait till Sunday for the final. Who will win, Kate or Yasmina? Well being a expert in HR for almost all my life I think I know who will win.
